Former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman Diagnosed With Cancer

Bill Wyman formally of the Rolling Stones has been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and is currently receiving treatment according to an official statement

“He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught at an early stages,” an official family statement reads.

The 79-year-old musician and producer left the Stones in 1993 after joining the band in its early stages in 1962. Wyman last played with the Rolling Stones in 2012, and even that was just for their 50th anniversary reunion. He released a solo album, “Back to Basics,” on June 22, 2015.

Here’s the statement via Wyman’s official Twitter account: “Bill has been diagnosed with cancer.
He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught at an early stages.”
