Pearl Jam Covers Comfortably Numb In Concert

Over the years it’s pretty well known, Pearl Jam likes to throw in a Pink Floyd song during their sets but a new one was added to their growing list.

According to Spin, they opened the second encore in Porto Alegre, Brazil with “Comfortably Numb” amidst a torrential downpour. Even though they have played other Floyd songs like “Mother”, “Interstellar Overdrive” and “Another Brick In The Wall”, this is the first time they played “Comfortably Numb” live.

A fan shot the performance and posted it to youtube. The video really showcases Eddie Vedder’s haunting vocals and guitarist Mike McCready solo work, doing Pink Floyd proud.

Here is the video.
