Eagles Of Death Metal Issue Statement On Paris Attack
The Eagles Of Death Metal have issued a short statement on Facebook about the mass shooting that took place at their concert at Paris’ Bataclan Friday night.
“We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.”
According to NBC News the band was on stage when gunmen stormed in, started shooting and took hostages. The band was able to escape but some members of the crew were unaccounted for.
Earlier the wife of drummer Julian Dorio told The Washington Post that he and other band members are OK. “We are just holding our breath and saying prayers for everyone,” Emily Dorio said. “[Julian] called to say that he loved me and he was safe. Everyone on stage was able to get off.”
