Alex Bevan and Friends at the Kent Stage
What a marvelous evening of music at The Kent Stage last night, featuring NE Ohio’s premier story teller Alex Bevan with his Friends, some of the best musicians NE Ohio has to offer – Tommy Dobeck on Congas and Tambourine (attached to his foot), Leonard DiCosimo on Bass, Austin Walkin’ Cane on Guitar and Tim Longfellow on Keyboard.
The selection of music spanned the entire breadth of Alex’s massive catalog of tunes….fan favorites from the first two albums such as Skinny, Grand River Lullabye, Rodeo Rider and Jazzbo…..to more recent songs like BBQ, Boomer, Glen Schwartz Bible and The Passenger Side.
As you can see by the photos, the band had as much fun as the audience with plenty of smiles going around.
