Maurice White, founder, producer and co-leader of the legendary R&B group Earth, Wind and Fire, died today at age 74.
White was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1992 and kept it a secret until 2000 when he announced he had the disease right before the band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
His death was confirmed by his brother but no other details were released.
