Brian Johnson the frontman for AC/DC has been ordered to bow out of the band’s tour at the risk of “total hearing loss”.
The band are currently on the U.S. leg of their “Rock or Bust World Tour”, but Johnson will be sitting out the remaining 10 dates in America.
In a statement released on Monday, Johnson reveals he was “advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss,” but details on his ailment have yet to be revealed.
The remaining members of the band are rescheduling the affected shows, and have promised to make up the shows “likely with a guest vocalist”.
The band was scheduled to play Columbus on March 23rd and Cleveland on March 26th.
