What a fun evening of music at the Beachland Ballroom on November 17th. The Razzz – a Raspberries tribute band and so much more featuring some great local artists – Steve Jochum, Bill March, Ed Brown, Dave Urick, and Chris deHaas.
The set primarily focused on the music of the Raspberries and Eric Carmen with hits such as Sunrise, I Wanna Be With You, Ecstasy, Overnight Sensation, Let’s Pretend, Tonight, All By Myself, I’m A Rocker, and Go All The Way. But also some great covers from bands that influenced the Raspberries – Walk Away Renee, I Can’t Explain, My Back Pages, Needles and Pins, Everytime You Walk Into The Room, Ticket To Ride, If I Needed Someone, It Won’t Be Long, I Fought The Law, and Couldn’t I Just Tell You.
The night would not have been complete with It’s Cold Outside and Funky Poodle.
Many local artists were in the crowd having fun – including Frank Amato who joined the band on Go All The Way.
