1956
Little Richard explodes on the young rock and roll music scene with “Tutti Frutti”. A one-time dishwasher in Macon, Georgia, Richard inspires dozens of acts especially the upcoming British Invasion.
1967
25,000 people show up as a preview of the Summer of Love at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park for the “Human Be-In”.  The Dead, Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service entertain while speakers include Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg.

1974

Cleveland is introduced to the Climax Blues Band.

1978 
The Sex Pistols’ final gig on their initial run.  It happened at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom.  Johnny Rotten ends the show asking, “Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?”
