45 years ago today, Jefferson Airplane performed at the Memorial Gym for the 1970 Homecoming celebration at Kent State University on October 11, 1970.
This was the first concert held at the campus after the tragic shooting that happened in May at an anti-war demonstration.
Also on the bill was Sha Na Na and Glen McKay’s Headlights.
