It has been almost 8 years since David Gilmour closed out his “Rattle That Lock” tour and we all felt this might be the last time we see him on stage.
Fast forward to today where it has been announced that he will return to the stage this October for his first full concerts since 2016. Gilmour will play a six-show residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall October 9 – 12 and 14 – 15.
First access to tickets on Thursday, May 9 will go to fans in the UK and Ireland who pre-order his new album, “Luck And Strange”, through David Gilmour’s website. Sale to the public starts on Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. (London time) thru Ticketmaster.co.uk.
Will this mean we might get to see Gilmour in North America, possibly Cleveland? We’ll have to wait and see.
