2011
Bruce Springsteen sax player Clarence Clemons suffers a stroke at his home in Florida.
The 69-year-old Clemons is listed as “responsive and in stable condition” after two brain
surgeries but he passes away less than a week later.

2015
Foo Fighters’ front man Dave Grohl fractures his leg when he jumps and falls into the
security pit during a show in Gothenburg, Sweden. A quick trip to the hospital, and
Grohl returns to finish the show.

Former Eagle Don Felder headlined the Kent Stage on this date in 2015.
