In a surprising move today (just kidding, it wasn’t surprising) Janes Addiction have cancelled the remaining dates of their “Reunion” tour which was the first one with all original members in 14 years.
This comes after Friday’s bizarre concert in Boston where frontman Perry Farrell attacked guitarist Dave Navarro well into the concert. As soon as that punch was thrown, bassist Eric Avery and two other men grabbed Farrell. Navarro then put his guitar down onto the stage while watching the three men wrestle with Farrell. Once Farrell was forcibly removed from the stage, the other three members stood and hugged one another and giving the peace sign before making an exit.
On the bands Instagram account, they made the following announcement:
“The band have made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group, as such they will be cancelling the remainder of the tour. Fans will receive refunds automatically via primary ticketing platforms. Those who purchased tickets through secondary sources should reach out to point of purchase.“
