Tomorrow the long-awaited return of Ben Folds comes to Northeast Ohio as he will be at the Goodyear Theater on Tuesday June 25th. Folds is widely regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation.
What’s great about this show is fans get to make requests by launching a paper airplane with the song request and Ben randomly picks the next song. As Ben explains, “The last time I did this on tour the response was overwhelming, with literally hundreds of paper airplanes with song requests being launched on cue from fans at the start of the second half of each of my concerts. It’s the purest, most low-tech form of engagement that creates a special bond with my audiences.”
