Award-winning American comedian, actor, screenwriter, and producer of television and film Dave Chappelle once again returns to the cornfields of Yellow Springs, OH, this summer for two more hometown shows at the Wirrig Pavilion on Friday, August 23, and Saturday, August 24.
The comedy shows in the cornfield, billed as Dave Chappelle and Friends, began as Chappelle’s response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially conceived as a way to provide economic and comedic relief to the local community, these shows have since become a recurring summer tradition. Now dubbed “Dave Chappelle’s Summer Camp,” the August performances follow earlier shows held at the same venue in July, marking the beginning of the summer comedy season in the area.
Tickets will be available on Wednesday, August 14 at 12 p.m. time at ticketmaster.com.
