David Gilmour recently said “Pink Floyd is done” but that doesn’t mean he’s done with Pink Floyd’s music, as evidenced by his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.
In his first television appearance in a decade, Gilmour played a haunting acoustic version of Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” in front of a live, enthusiastic audience on the late night show. Gilmour also gave the audience a taste of his new solo set, with “Rattle The Lock” from his latest album.
Gilmour kicked off a very short 4 city tour in L.A. We will be in Toronto to cover this rare concert by him.
