Back by popular demand, one of the most successful musical groups of the 1960s, GARY PUCKETT & THE UNION GAP, along with special guests THE COWSILLS, are coming to the Robins Theatre in downtown Warren, Ohio on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Gary’s unmistakable signature voice garnered six consecutive gold records and top ten Billboard hits with the following titles: “YOUNG GIRL” • “WOMAN WOMAN” • “LADY WILLPOWER” • “OVER YOU” • “THIS GIRL IS A WOMAN NOW” • “KEEP THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED” • “DON’T GIVE IN TO HIM” • “HOME”
Gary Puckett and The Union Gap sold more records in 1968 than any other recording act including the Beatles. Gary is one of a few artists whose first five releases went gold. Not even Elvis accomplished this. He performs to standing room only crowds doing over 150 performances each year.
From the 1960’s until today The Cowsills have defined melodic pop harmonies. In 1969, The Cowsills had their biggest hit, the multi-million selling title song from the musical “Hair.” Today, the surviving Cowsills continue to make music – sometimes individually and sometimes together – and their harmonies are still as infectious and bright as ever.
