Graham Nash Wows Sold Out Crowd At Kent Stage

Graham Nash’s “MORE EVENINGS OF SONGS & STORIES” Tour 2024, is exactly what the sold-out crowd got at The Kent Stage Friday night. Graham Nash sounded better than ever. Not only did he sing, he played piano, guitar, and harmonica. Along with an incredible band of musicians, Nash, sang the songs of his career and told the stories that went with them. One of the craziest stories was when he ingested some LSD back in the day and ended up sleeping in Stonehenge, on one of the actual stones for a day.

During the “soundcheck” his name was very large on the screen behind him on stage but during the show, it was not there. He said it was too big and not needed. One backdrop picture that he did use however was a massive stained glass church window that was displayed when he played “Cathedral”. How appropriate as the crowd was in the church of Rock N’ Roll with one of it’s most famous disciples. In fact, the sold-out crowd of fans were the choir for the last few songs of the evening. (I would say for almost all of the songs of the evening!)

Once again, the “storytellers” style show had the fans complementing on getting to hear the stories behind the songs in addition to hearing the actual songs live. Simply put, Graham Nash is one of the best “storytellers” in Rock N’ Roll history. The word heard by almost every fan on the way out of The Kent Stage last night was “WOW” and that word “WOW” was coming from a smiling face!
