Newest report, Axl Rose and Slash are set to hit the stage together for the first time in over 20 years as part of a 2016 Guns N’ Roses reunion as a headliner at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California in April, according to new reports.
Billboard is reporting that supposedly they will also perform together at the new Las Vegas Arena, which is set to open on 6 April, and there are plans for Guns N’ Roses shows in 25 North American stadiums over the summer.
The last show Axl and Slash played together was in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1993.
Coachella boss Paul Tollett and AEG executives, who will operate the new Las Vegas Arena, have yet to make an official announcement about the reports surrounding the reunion shows, but the news comes days after rock fans were given major hints about a Slash/Axl Rose get together. A cryptic update to the band’s website suggested something was happening and then movie fans attending screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens were treated to footage of a concert crowd with the group’s music playing in the background as part of the pre-film festivities.
