International Record Store Day This Year On 4/20

This Saturday 4/20 marks another important event that began back in 2007.

Record Store Day is an international affair designed to bring attention to all the independent record stores in the world. Record manufacturers choose this day (usually the third Saturday of April) to release many limited-edition reprints of some of our favorite artists with some being pressed with colored vinyl.

If you would like to see the entire list of this year’s offerings, they are available here, https://recordstoreday.com/Stores

I’ll tempt you with a few of this year’s favorites.

Black Sabbath – Paranoid

Faces – Complete BBC Sessions

Alan Parson Project – Pyramid

Cheech and Chong – Up in Smoke

David Bowie – Waiting in the Sky

Fleetwood Mac – Rumors

Frank Zappa -Zappa for President

George Harrison – Wonderwall Music

Grateful Dead – Nightfall of Diamonds

John Lennon – Mind Games

Lowell George – Thanks, I’ll Eat it Here
