On Instagram yesterday, Jack White announced that he is going to do a tour which will take him to small clubs, back yard BBQs and a few festivals to pay the bills. Surprisingly, the tour has already begun, but you won’t know if he’s coming to your town because shows will be announced with little advance notice. This is in support of his surprise “No Name” album that was released in July.
The first stop of his pop-up tour happened on July 27th at the American Legion Post 82 in Nashville and then last night he played at the 575-capacity The Basement East club also in Nashville. Since no tour dates will be announced in advance you will have to follow him on Instagram to see if he is playing your area.
