Spotify announced a new, higher-priced premium plan that will launch later this year, Users will be charged at least $5 more per month for as they are saying “access to better audio and new tools for creating playlists and managing their song libraries.”
This is coming off an announced price increase of a dollar that goes into effect in July that makes the basic subscription price $11.99 a month. This is after it increased the subscription price just last year to $10.99 a month from $9.99 after not having touched its price for more than 10 years.
I don’t know if this new HD plan is going to be any better but at what price point is music streaming worth the price? I guess we will find out soon.
