Time to take a look back into this day in rock history: December 11

1964
The great Sam Cooke was shot to death in a Los Angeles hotel room.  There was talk that he was gunned down during an attack on a woman, and the death was ruled a justifiable homicide.
1970
 Ringo Starr’s movie The Magic Christian has its screen debut in London.

On that same date, two albums… John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band… were released.

2021

“Leaving Las Vegas”, Wayne Newton brought his show to Warren’s Robins Theater.  The theater was saved from the wrecking ball and is now a cornerstone in the rebirth of downtown Warren.
