1969
Ringo makes his racy film debut.  The movie Candy hits the screen with a bunch of stars including Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, James Coburn, John Huston, Walter Matthau…and Ringo.
1969
Baltimore sees the premiere of the documentary Goodbye Cream, the band’s farewell concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

1976

Cat Stevens covers a lot of ground  at his Richfield Coliseum show.

1980
AC/DC’s Bon Scott is found dead after basically choking on his own vomit after a night of heavy drinking.  His body is found in the passenger seat of a friend’s car.
2003
A flash fire at a Great White club gig in West Warwick, Rhode Island leaves 100 people dead. It also claims the life of lead singer Ty Longley.  Low ceilings in a pyrotechnics display ignited the club in seconds.

2018

Grammy award winner Shelby Lynne gives a memorable performance at the Kent Stage.
