1976

The “Thin White Duke” David Bowie brings his Isolar tour to Cleveland Public Auditorium.

1977 
Keith Richards is taken into custody in Toronto after police move in on his hotel room and find 22 grams of heroin, 5 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  He’s released on $25,000 bail.

1984

Boosted by heavy airplay on MTV, Duran Duran does  not disappoint during their stop at the Richfield Coliseum.

2000
Biofilm or soap opera?  ABC airs a two part miniseries titled The Beach Boys: An American Family.  Even though it’s a dramatization, audiences are stunned by the real life drama behind the scenes of the band.

2015

Guitarist Jesse Cook gives an inspired performance at the Kent Stage.
