Prog rock holds center court when Yes brings its tour to the Richfield Coliseum.

1998
Beach Boy Carl Wilson dies of lung and brain cancer at just 51.  He was the lead vocalist on the classic “God Only Knows” and “Good Vibrations”, as well as back up on Elton John’s “Don”t Let The Sun Go Down On Me”.
