1956
A founding father of Britain’s pop music scene, Lonnie Donegan jump starts the skiffle craze with his cover of “Rock Island Line”. It even charts in the US rising to #8.
1968
Dick Clark expands his TV empire with the debut of his series Happening ’68.  Hosted by Paul Revere and the Raiders the weekend show will last a little more than a year.

1985

This was one loud show when Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister tore up the stage at the Richfield Coliseum.
