This Day in Rock History: March 4th

Time to take a look back into this day in rock history: March 4

1982
Frank’s kids, Dweezil and Moon Unit Zappa, form the band Fred Zeppelin. Their first single, “My Mother is a Space Cadet”, goes down like a lead….well, you know.
1986
The Band’s Richard Manuel ends his own life in Winter Park, Florida, after a concert. Bandmate Robbie Robertson later pays tribute to his friend with the song His “Fallen Angel” in 1987.
