Time to take a look back into this day in rock history: March 6

1964
Okay, so they’re not all Citizen Kane.  It only took 17 days to complete, and looked it.  Elvis Presley’s Kissin’ Cousins still drew huge crowds despite being panned by critics and is one of the top grossing films of 1963.

1982
Dick Clark donates his American Bandstand podium  “America’s attic”, the Smithsonian Museum.

1976

Soon to be playing stadiums, the Electric Light Orchestra does an early gig at Kent State University.
