1966
The Beach Boys make an abrupt audio turnaround with the release of “Good Vibrations”, the jaw dropping opus that lyricist Mike Love called “a flowery poem”.
1974
This was the last real version of Traffic with Rosko Gee replacing Chris Wood on bass who was dealing with substance abuse. Steve Winwood also had health issues and eventually walked off the tour in Chicago to start his solo career.

1976
What many consider the first real punk single, “New Rose / Help” is released by the Damned, beating the Sex Pistols “Anarchy in the UK” by five weeks. The flip side is a remake of the Beatles hit.
2021
While schooling herself early in the blues, Samantha Fish is now seen as a crossover to a number of musical genres.
