1973

Former Beatle John Lennon sues the US government and the FBI for illegal wiretapping setting off a five-year battle to stay in the states.

1974

Soul star Al Green is attacked in his Memphis home by an ex-girlfriend who burns him with a pot of boiling hot grits.  Mary Woodson then commits suicide with Green’s gun. 

2018
Bluegrass is a big draw at the Kent Stage.  Just ask Dan Tyminski.
