1971
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame songwriter Laura Nyro made a rare concert appearance in Cleveland on this date.

1975
Perhaps their finest moment, Queen releases “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the UK. Despite its seven-minute length, the song soars to the top of the charts worldwide.
1978
Joe Walsh’s first post James Gang band, Barnstorm, plays Cleveland’s Allen Theater. The band was scheduled to reform for an all-star evening at Kent State’s MAC center to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the May 4th shootings but the show was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
