1967

The Box Tops started a four week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with ‘The Letter’.   The record sold over four million copies with two Grammy nominations.  Here’s the band during an appearance on WEWS-TV’s “Upbeat”

2015
Not one but two Rock and Roll Hall of Famers as Hot Tuna (former Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady) do an acoustic set at the Kent Stage.

Graham Nash covered his long career in music at his Kent Stage shows.

Stars of the early North Beach folk scene, the Kingston Trio had a great crowd at the Kent Stage.

Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter died at age 78. He helped write some of the band’s most famous songs, including ‘Uncle John’s Band’, ‘Scarlet Begonias’ and ‘Dark Star.’
