Donovan scores his American television debut on ABC-TV’s Shindig! along with The Hollies, The Turtles and the Dave Clark Five.

1999

Chris de Burgh’s web site has to be closed down after countless obscene messages were posted on the guestbook. The message consisted entirely of two four-letter words repeated over 3500 times.  And the point of this exercise is?

2004
Dave Stewart joins Mick Jagger for a press conference at the Essex House in New York City, promoting the soundtrack to the movie “Alfie”. The re-make of the 1966 film features a track ‘Old Habits Die Hard’ from the soundtrack winning the BFCA Award, Golden Globe, Sierra Award and the World Soundtrack Award.
