Widespread Panic Finally Announces Album Release

Widespread Panic have finally announced the official release date of their latest studio album and first in nine years, “Snake Oil King”, which will drop next Friday, June 14. The confirmed full-length arrives after the band has already previewed their project by releasing 5 of the 6 tracks on the album. The previous released tracks include “Cosmic Confidante,” “Life as a Tree,” “Tackle Box Hero,” “We Walk Each Other Home” and “Little by Little” leaving only “Small Town” as a final surprise with the album purchase.

Snake Oil King marks Panic’s first studio album since 2015’s Street Dogs and second with drummer Duane Trucks behind the kit and leading up to the official announcement, Widespread Panic has tried out their new singles in live settings.

A vinyl edition of Snake Oil King will be available for purchase at independent record stores on June 14.
