1968
Cream begins its farewell tour citing internal struggles.  Portions of the tour are included in the final release Goodbye.

1969
Monty Python’s Flying Circus debuts on British TV. The absurd comedy is a favorite of the Beatles, especially George Harrison, who later makes an unannounced stage appearance with the troupe.

1980

A homecoming of sorts for “Spyder”, Parma’s Neil Giraldo, now guitarist and husband of pop superstar Pat Benatar.
