This Day in Rock History: September 4th

Time to take a look back into this day in rock history: September 4

1969
The U.K. finally got to see what the fuss was about with the debut of “Easy Rider” in London.  The movie’s soundtrack was a hit with everyone from the The Band to Jimi Hendrix on the record.

2015
Keith Richards calls rap “music for tone deaf people”, telling the New York Daily News that all rap performers need is “a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy. There’s an enormous market for people who can’t tell one note from another.”  Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but then why did the Stones have Biz Markie rap on one of their songs?
