Rumors Of Guns N’ Roses Reunion Everywhere
Did you ever have someone tell you, “A friend of a friend of their brother told me…..” That seems to be the chain of evidence of the rumors that a Guns N’ Roses reunion is coming.
First to announce or shout it was Duff McKagan’s wife friend, Brandi Glanville (yea that one), told a paparazzi reporter during a night out, “GUNS N’ ROSES is coming back, motherfuckers!”
Now Dish Nation is reporting that a reunion tour of the classic lineup of Guns N’ Roses is “close to being revealed.” The band will supposedly headline several major festivals in Europe and U.S. before embarking on a worldwide headlining tour to mark their 30th anniversary.
Reunion rumors have seemingly been everywhere lately. With Axl Rose as the only original member left in the group, Guns N’ Roses recently parted ways guitarists Bumblefoot and DJ Ashba and a report that Slash and Axl Rose were apparently on friendly terms again sent fans into a reunion frenzy.
A “music insider” told Dish Nation: “Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band. The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings.Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect.”
The last time they came close to a reunion was when the band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. Three original members of the band, including Slash, Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler, showed up, but Axl and guitarist Izzy Stradlin were no-shows. At the induction Slash said in several interviews that the Hall Of Fame ceremony gave him a sense of “closure.”
